New Publication on the ELLIPSE Project

We are pleased to announce the publication of our scientific article titled “ELLIPSE: Efficient and Novel Waste Streams Co-Processing to Obtain Bio-Based Solutions for Personal Care and Agricultural Sectors” in the prestigious Environmental Engineering and Management Journal.

This study, conducted within the ELLIPSE project, marks a significant step forward in circular economy strategies by valorizing slaughterhouse waste and paper & pulp sludge for the production of bioplastics (PHA) and bio-based fertilizers. The results demonstrate the potential of these waste materials in contributing to more sustainable solutions for the personal care and agricultural sectors.

We would like to thank all the authors and project partners for their dedication and contribution to the research.
