ELLIPSE Project Brings Best Expertise to MixMatters Workshop on Bio-Based Solutions

On May 19, 2025 in Tulln an der Donau, Bernhard Drosg from BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH – brought the best expertise of both his organization and the ELLIPSE Project to the fourth MixMatters workshop, titled “Supply meets demand – Aligning expectations for bio-based solutions.”

The event gathered stakeholders from across the bioeconomy to discuss how to better match market demand with the capabilities of bio-based innovation.

Drawing from his extensive hands-on experience, Drosg actively contributed to discussions on:

  • Aligning expectations between producers and end-users;

  • Overcoming technical and economic barriers in the bio-based sector;

  • Strategies to scale up sustainable solutions;

  • Enabling cross-sector collaboration to accelerate transition.

His input reflected the combined knowledge and practical insight developed within BEST and the ELLIPSE Project, reinforcing their joint commitment to innovation and real-world impact.

This participation showcased how cross-project collaboration can foster meaningful dialogue and collective advancement.
