InterTradeIreland, in partnership with the Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, and other supporting bodies, is hosting an event dedicated to innovators and businesses interested in advancing competitive circular bio-based industries.
The event aims to encourage North-South applications from the island of Ireland for the upcoming CBE JU 2026 call for project proposals, which opens for submissions on 23 April 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into the application process, better understand funding opportunities, and connect with experts from both local and EU ecosystems.
We are also pleased to share that ELLIPSE will take part in the event through a poster session, where we will present some of our ongoing work and engage with stakeholders interested in circular bio-based innovation.
Key highlights include:
- Understanding the aims and objectives of CBE JU
- Determining eligibility and suitability for the call
- Networking and matchmaking with potential partners
- Navigating the application process
- Tips for crafting a strong proposal
- Exploring additional funding opportunities for innovation in agri-food and bio-based solutions
