The 13th edition of the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) was held in Florence (Italy) on September 28th-29th. It was organised by Confindustria Toscana together with Circular Bioeconomy Cluster SPRING, Innovhub-SSI and Assobiotec.
The IFIB 2023 aims to strengthen the bio-economy network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote partnerships.
The event topics were as follows:
- Bioeconomy and circular economy
- Bio-based industries
- Agro-food
- Marine biotechnology
- White biotechnology.
The ELLIPSE partner, Novamont Spa, participated in the event by distributing the ELLIPSE brochures in order to provide attendees with essential information about the project.
