The Pitch Perfect and Boost the EU Bioeconomy 2023 event took place at Sheraton Brussels Airport, on September 25th, 2023. This year an effort was made to reach 300 participants and provide 99 pitches.
The event also
- included a full day of intense cross-border networking, innovation scouting and matchmaking supported by an online tool;
- hosted an exhibition in the spacious “Atrium” of the venue which is also used as a catering and main networking area.
This pitching, matchmaking and networking event brought together the networks of eight important bioeconomy platforms: Pilots4U, BioeconomyVentures, The ProteInn Club, ShapingBio, Planet B.Io, Waste2Func, Tech4Biowaste and Bio Base Connect. As such, we can guarantee a diverse attendance reaching from SMEs, start-ups, scale-ups, large companies/corporates, investors, research organisations, and technology providers to organisations offering relevant innovation services such as access to finance, scale-up trials, application testing, business plan writing, feedstock analysis, life cycle assessment, social acceptance, etc.
During the event, AIMPLAS gave a short presentation on the ELLIPSE project.
