SUMMARY:Pitch Perfect and Boost the EU Bioeconomy 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Pitch Perfect and Boost the EU Bioeconomy 2023 event took place at Sheraton Brussels Airport\, on September 25th\, 2023. This year an effort was made to reach 300 participants and provide 99 pitches. \nThe event also \n\nincluded a full day of intense cross-border networking\, innovation scouting and matchmaking supported by an online tool;\nhosted an exhibition in the spacious “Atrium” of the venue which is also used as a catering and main networking area.\n\nThis pitching\, matchmaking and networking event brought together the networks of eight important bioeconomy platforms: Pilots4U\, BioeconomyVentures\, The ProteInn Club\, ShapingBio\, Planet B.Io\, Waste2Func\, Tech4Biowaste and Bio Base Connect. As such\, we can guarantee a diverse attendance reaching from SMEs\, start-ups\, scale-ups\, large companies/corporates\, investors\, research organisations\, and technology providers to organisations offering relevant innovation services such as access to finance\, scale-up trials\, application testing\, business plan writing\, feedstock analysis\, life cycle assessment\, social acceptance\, etc. \nDuring the event\, AIMPLAS gave a short presentation on the ELLIPSE project.

SUMMARY:ELLIPSE at International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy 2023
DESCRIPTION:The 13th edition of the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) was held in Florence (Italy) on September 28th-29th. It was organised by Confindustria Toscana together with Circular Bioeconomy Cluster SPRING\, Innovhub-SSI and Assobiotec. \nThe IFIB 2023  aims to strengthen the bio-economy network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote partnerships. \nThe event topics were as follows: \n\nBioeconomy and circular economy\nBio-based industries\nAgro-food\nMarine biotechnology\nWhite biotechnology.\n\nThe ELLIPSE partner\, Novamont Spa\, participated in the event by distributing the ELLIPSE brochures in order to provide attendees with essential information about the project. \n
